High Praise From USA TODAY Writer, Whitney Matheson



I recently discovered that DDI received some nice praise from USA TODAY Blogger Whitney Matheson. She pens the popular blog POP CANDY, and produces a podcast of the same name.

Here is what she had to say:

Black Before Red is an indie-rock quartet based out of Austin, TX. They have a sound reminiscent of The Beatles, or Pinback, or Violent Femmes, with a little Shins, but whatever you think they sound like this band offers unique compositions that make them worth listening to repeatedly.
